Hi! I am Jules Wiegand. I love Jesus and Photography (in that order:). Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy browsing through my life and photography. I live in Louisville, but i would love to do your destination wedding or event or mission trip.. so, please fly me somewhere!
I am excited to celebrate your life moments with you – whether that be your engagement, wedding, senior pictures, family or baby pictures – love the babies:) i pretty much love it all!! ha.. that’s a lot of love going on. Now i feel like singing – it’s good for you that i don’t have audio on this blog!!

What is The Post? How would you describe it? How would you capture what it is all about? That’s what some of the leadership at the Post are going to try and convey to the rest of the Southeast Church Body and they asked me to help. Here is one of my attempts to capture The Post through images….
The post has been described as a community in motion. But what is this movement… as young adults and college students, one knows what movement is.. You move to college, you move to a job, you move to class, you move – you go here, you go there. There is movement all around you…. The Post is about movement.. but not a directionless going through the motions kind of movement … rather, it is one of purpose, one of direction, one of fulfillment, one of joy, one of satisfaction, one of community, one of intimate relationship, one of newness, one of awe and one of transformation…. a movement only possible in Christ.. in relationship with a Savior who so loved you and I that he died for all of our sin and conquered it’s power. This is the movement of a mighty God.. and a community of servants who join in and celebrate and seek to spread the movement.

My friend, Daniel Dabney – lead pastor at the Post asked me to help him explain to others what the Post is about through Images. He wants to share with the rest of the church body what we do at The Post – and sometimes you can’t explain it just with words. One of the first things, i thought of was communion – a personal time in which you meet with Christ and remember the cross. Here’s a glance at what i have so far.

if you ever happen to see me in front of my computer screen saying things like “oh my goodness, I can’t stand how cute you are!” or “aww, w-ittle cutie” or “that is soooo presh” in a rather strange baby talk kind of voice. Chances are – i am working on baby photos. Yes, it’s true .. i say it out loud. Seriously i can’t help myself. Check it out for yourself..see if you can withstand giving an audible ‘aww’ or ’so cute’. You can’t.. don’t lie!!! Here’s a little sneak peak of why people think i’ve lost it because i’m talking to my computer.
Introducing Kim Coleman!!! Kim contacted me about getting some head shots and some other fun photos so that she could get a website together and also get some singing gigs. She is definitely up and coming!! AH-mazing voice and just tons of personality too. I am sure she won’t be in Louisville for long with her talent!! I had so much fun hanging out with her all day and getting some great photos!! I only included a few head shots.. mostly i put up all the fun photos and of course, those i think would make a good record cover :)

I absolutely love this couple.. i laughed so much my jaw hurt. We had so much fun all over Jeffersonville in Indiana taking pictures and finding out of the way fun places. I thought of going to this part of town because of Adrianne’s Bakery. Claudia is an amazing pastry chef – seriously!! She does wedding cakes and cupcakes so i thought she would love to meet Adrianne and visit her cute little bakery for inspiration. We decided to hang out in there to start off the engagement photos as the atmosphere is so them.
