Hi! I am Jules Wiegand. I love Jesus and Photography (in that order:). Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy browsing through my life and photography. I live in Louisville, but i would love to do your destination wedding or event or mission trip.. so, please fly me somewhere!
I am excited to celebrate your life moments with you – whether that be your engagement, wedding, senior pictures, family or baby pictures – love the babies:) i pretty much love it all!! ha.. that’s a lot of love going on. Now i feel like singing – it’s good for you that i don’t have audio on this blog!!

I love kids .. i really do. The other day – I was surrounded by children – about 7 of them under the age of 4. I noticed a few things – 1. freedom and joy – they pretty much just love life and enjoy the moment and feel completely free to do that however they want – even dancing in Panera :) 2. How dependent they are on their parents.. what a great responsibility to love and care for these little ones. 3. the delight they bring to others… i mean.. normally people don’t really look at each other or smile.. but almost everyone will smile at a child.
anyway.. here is one those precious souls :) I asked her to pick flowers to put in her mom’s hair. At first she wasn’t sure what that meant.. but watch her joy as she completes the task. I have more for later.. but couldn’t resist sharing these :)
Introducing The Post team from Southeast Christian. I love this team.. they are so fun and they truly are a team. The Post is a ministry team that focuses on college and young adults at Southeast Christian. I have done some photography for other events and will be doing more – so stay tuned. Went to Panama, Florida with a bunch of high school seniors… it was so much fun!! We spent a day on a Pirate ship and had a blast. Of course we heard lots of Pirate Jokes.. it’s funny how i don’t get tired of them. haha!! Here’s a few for you…. in case you’re not up on the latest :)

Have you gotten your tickets for the big premiere of Cornhole the Movie on May 7th? You need too!! My cousin is a total star… and the movie looks hilarious. I did some head shots for Elizabeth since she has been auditioning like crazy!! The one thing you should know about head shots is that they need to be simple and not artsy. Pretty straightforward! We managed to have some fun tho :) Check out some of her shots

Had a wonderful time celebrating Easter with my family. And i have to admit .. i still love to color eggs :) must be my creative side!! Here is a little glimpse into the amazing colors of Easter.

I convinced my family to start one over the Easter holidays.. we just sat around and enjoyed each others company and the warmth of the fire! And i just happened to get a few photos. I slowed down my shutter speed so that the embers would create almost a confetti type look. Enjoy.

Elizabeth is a wonderful actress and i have followed her career since she was born!! ok.. she is my cousin. I remember us putting on plays for the entire family.. so i somehow feel like i helped her in her career. :) Those basement productions helped refine her art!! i just know it did! haha Here is a sneak peak of her head shots photography session. She needs professional photos for all her auditions. So, there are about a hundred for her to choose from :) Here is one just to get you started :)
By the way, she has an upcoming premier. Check out Cornhole The Movie. The previews alone make me laugh!!
