Hi! I am Jules Wiegand. I love Jesus and Photography (in that order:). Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy browsing through my life and photography. I live in Louisville, but i would love to do your destination wedding or event or mission trip.. so, please fly me somewhere!
I am excited to celebrate your life moments with you – whether that be your engagement, wedding, senior pictures, family or baby pictures – love the babies:) i pretty much love it all!! ha.. that’s a lot of love going on. Now i feel like singing – it’s good for you that i don’t have audio on this blog!!

I pretty much love this kid. I have known him since 6th grade when he used to bounce into my sunday morning bible study class and hide. I don’t know if you have ever tried to teach 6th graders before but let me just tell you – they are a challenge. Many mornings i would come in to an empty classroom (correction – empty of boys). The girls were seated ready for class, the boys were always hiding somewhere in the room waiting for me to find them. After the third week of finding them in the cabinets, I stopped looking for them – eventually they would come out “Ms. Julie – we are here. Fooled you!!” Yep you fooled me. They were so much fun and ridiculous at the same time! Mark would always ask me random questions that had nothing (and i mean nothing) to do with the lesson. In fact, he would follow me out of the classroom to tell me more random tales. And here he is A SENIOR!!! Ok, i am not going to lie.. i kinda feel a bit old. And believe it or not, he still likes to ask me random questions. He’s a great mix of contemplative thinking and goofy fun guy. I hope that shows in his pictures. Melissa and Joe have known each other since middle school. In fact, Joe was the first boy to hold Melissa’s hand. Awww… i know, super sweet. But then tragedy (play dramatic music here)- they must leave middle school and go to high school!! In a huge school, they were not able to find each other and the romance was forgotten. Sadness… Years passed and each became a fond childhood memory in their mind. Fortunately, the development of facebook enabled these two to finally reconnect (cue dramatic music). The spark was still there and soon they realized they were meant to be… :) A few months later and they are getting married at an adorable bed and breakfast in Augusta, KY. Asbury Meadows is one of my favorite places to photograph and it was amazing to be a part of this wedding and to be their photographer. Absolutely loved the feel and look of Asbury Meadows and the little town of Augusta, KY was so cute. Very vintage country which just happens to be my favorite look. Lots of old bikes and barns – just thinking about it makes me want to go back. Here are some of favorite photographs from the wedding.
