Emely has been in my life for about 10 years now.  I was privileged enough to mentor her while she was in college.  She holds a very special place in my heart, so I was completely honored when she asked me to be her wedding photographer.   Emely has a beautiful heart.  I wasn’t really convinced that any guy was good enough for her until I met Stephen.  Those two together, just make sense.   Here is one of my favorites, but just to warn you there are a lot of favorites.

Emely spent the weekend at Natural Bridge State Park with her closest friends before the wedding.   They rented a beautiful cabin overlooking Red River Gorge where they leisurely enjoyed getting ready and spending intimate time together.  The outdoor setting was gorgeous.

In fact, Emely is so comfortable with me, I had to tell her to put some clothes on so that I could take some pictures of her getting ready -lol.  She is such a joy to me.  We had so much fun just sitting around laughing and talking about her life and her man.

Her Dad cried from the moment he saw her until the Father- Daughter dance.  So sweet!!

Emely’s Mom was so involved in putting this wedding together, she even helped make these flower bouquets rock.

However, because Emely’s mom was so involved in putting the wedding together, Em had to wait til her Mom was ready before she could put her dress on.  She had been asking for hours when it would be time.  She was so excited, so when the moment finally arrived- she was overcome with laughter.

Emely chose a beautiful destination for her outdoor wedding that completely suited her personality.  We went to Hoedown Island at Natural Bridge State Park and the fall leaves made a perfect setting for her ceremony.

There were a lot of tears shed at this wedding.  Everything about the ceremony was just so sweet.

One little fact about Emely is that she loves to sing.  She has a little bit (by little.. i mean, a lot)  of a southern accent and her twang becomes even more accentuated when she is lifting up a note or two.   These next two pictures really sold me on Stephen – here she is singing away as she always does – and he is touched to the point of tears.  He adores her.  If any picture shows their connection and their love for one another, it’s these two pictures.
