Eric and Lauren are a pretty awesome couple!!  They got engaged at Yew Dell Gardens, you may remember their engagement session from this past Fall.   They both do the same job working for Campus Crusade for Christ and met through a Cru Conference.  They are both so genuine and kind and it was really a pleasure to be a part of celebrating their wedding in Carmel, Indiana – just outside of Indianapolis.   They had such an amazing team of people around them to help pull their wedding together… it really made everything run smoothly.    Laura from Eventful Planning planned everything perfectly.  Lauren and Eric were fully able to just soak in all the fun without any stressors.  

We started the day at Lauren’s home with her family and friends.   Lauren and several of her bridesmaids have visited overseas in Asia, so it was quite fitting to have sushi for lunch.   (And yummy!!)We went to the Palladium for their bridal photos and for their first sight.  I always love these moments when they see each other for the first time in an intimate setting.    My second shooter, Kate got these amazing shots from around the corner.

Such a fun group!!Time to get married!!!!Eric and Lauren built extra time into their day so that we could take some more photos after the ceremony.   It was really a sweet time for the couple.Time to party at the Bridgewater Club!!   While the couple were getting photos with me, all of their guest were enjoying a time of cocktails and treats. Lauren was able to get a sneak peek of the reception hall before everyone was allowed to enter.  She was thrilled!!  I’ve included photos from earlier in the day so that you can get a true picture of how pretty the florals were that adorned the tables.   Lauren and Eric had everyone sing for the supper!  Each table had to sing before they were served their dinner.

Alea and Grant love photo shoots, which is unusual to have both bride and groom be excited about photos.   It made for a fun day and we had a blast.  This whole session makes me long for warmer days since currently I have all the space heaters on in the house.  Did someone say snow tomorrow?   YIKES!!  Well, for all of you longing for warmth – this post is for you!!  LOL, and of course for Alea and Grant who may just have enjoyed the last warm day of the year.    We traveled from Central Park in Louisville which is a special place for them as a couple to the  Falls of the Ohio just because :).   Here are some of my favorites from their Louisville and Indiana Engagement Photo Session.     Try to pick out your favorite engagement shots and vote for as many as you like.    Thanks for a wonderful day!!

Andrew and Kelli are a great couple who love to laugh.  We spent the day at Cherokee and the Louisville Gardencourt to capture their engagement photos.   Here are some of my favorites of their engagement session.   Congratulations you two!!   Excited for your wedding coming in the fall.

The Steurer family contacted me so that they could celebrate their 10 year wedding anniversary with photos.   Trying to do some romantic style photos with two little ones  (the oldest being 4) turned out to be quite entertaining.   It seems whenever we set up a shot, the kids saw it as an opportunity to jump and play  ON their parents.   So funny!!  Here are some of my favorites from the Louisville Family  Photography Session at Blackacre Nature Preserve and Farm.  By the way, if you happen to love the little girl’s clothes in this shoot.   Jaimelee makes them!! Natalie and Brandon are what I like to call “Flutterpated” – where you are just giggly  and can’t stop smiling at each other.   That stage is so fun – you can’t help but smile right along with them.    They would often just look at each other and start cracking up.   We had a lot of fun during their Engagement Photography Session.   Here are some of my faves.

Marci and Dan are so fun.   I really enjoyed hanging out with them and getting to know them.   Marci was so excited to ‘feel like a tourist’ at Indiana’s Huber Orchard and Winery since her family owns Huber’s – she rarely gets to enjoy the Farm like that.   It was also nice to meet some of her family while we were photographing their engagement.   The whole family helps out to make this business a success.   And what a wonderful place to work – you can definitely feel the warmth among the staff.   Plus having a “Huber” with me – allowed for a lot of privileges to roam the premisses and use whatever we needed to get the shot.  I loved it.   They even hooked me up with some Sangria supplies which was awesome since I love me some Sangria.    I can’t wait for their wedding – it’s going to be so fun.     Here are some of my favorite photos from their Indiana Engagement Session – feel free to vote for as many as you like.  You two are freakin adorable together.   Loved hanging out with you both.   And I LOVED the Sangria.  Thanks again!!!!

Alison is one my dear friends.  I’m so happy for her that she found Kevin- he’s such an awesome guy and he makes her laugh pretty much all the time.   My favorite thing he does is pretend that he is shorter than her by bending his knees as he walks beside her.   It’s pretty funny.   They are pretty cute together.   Here are some of my favorite photos from their engagement session at the Water Tower.   Vote for all your favorites!!

So excited for their wedding in FT. MEYERS this February!!!!

Brooke and Rob’s wedding is going to be at Huber’s Farm, which of course is one of my favorite places so I immediately knew they were my kind of people.   Outdoor  Southern – style Weddings is my cup of tea (sweet tea).  LOL.    I had so much fun getting to know this couple in their engagement shoot.   Rob is a police officer.. luckily he is out of his jurisdiction in Louisville – so he couldn’t arrest me when I trespassed.  LOL.    Here are some of my faves of their Louisville Engagement Session – trespassing and all: Meet the kids :  Lily-bear and Gracie!  They like to run!! 

So much fun… looking forward to your wedding next fall!!   Though your dogs were fun – I am hoping I don’t have to photograph them in the wedding…haha… I would need running shoes.  

I have been looking forward to posting this engagement photo shoot ever since I photographed these two.   Tara had so many fun ideas and props to play with – I was seriously in sensory overload.    Tara’s modern rustic style just matches my style perfectly.   The session was so much fun – we only stopped because the sun went down!!  Here are some of my favorites – there are many I must warn you.    So, I think Tara might secretly be a professional model…

Yes, i know!!  Their shoot is ridiculously awesome!!  They totally rocked it!!  Aside from being supermodels, they are also a lot of fun…   who else would dance in a church pew.  Footloose part 3??  I think so!  I know, they are adorable.   I don’t know what else to say except just enjoy the rest of their fabulous engagement shoot.  One of my absolute faves!!!  Tara.. seriously!!

After finishing up with the modern vintage – rustic part of the engagement shoot, we went on to a more urban feel for Taylor.  

Seriously so much fun!!  Can’t wait for your wedding.
