One of the most amazing events I have ever been a part of as a photographer.   The event was designed to celebrate and love people who have disabilities.  There were about 400 plus attendees to come to the Prom in their honor.  There were about 600 plus volunteers and contributors to make this event a success.   From prom dresses and tuxes being donated, to limousine rides, to free food from places like Chick-fil-A and of course, Papa John’s.   The list goes on and on.   But my absolute favorite – was the red carpet treatment each attendee received.

The cheering began from the point of drop off til they came through the red carpet.   One of the most beautiful moments that I have been a part of – when faces would light up upon the applause.   Tears came to my face a few times watching these men and women be welcomed in such a gracious manner.   One attendee went through the red carpet tunnel 3 times.
