Sitting here in long johns (ok.. not long johns…a cuter version) – but as i sit here bundled up to protect my sun tanned skin from the coldness of KY – the memory of my vacay in Destin is that much sweeter. I just want to live on the beach – Destin is great, but really any beach will do :) I mean i am a wedding photographer.. i could do my wedding photography business from there :) But alas.. i am in KY. I like KY tho – especially in the fall when the leaves are gorgeous. I need to go on a fall photoshoot. But for now.. here are some highlights of my Destin beach trip. Don’t be jealous of my sweet tan :) which btw.. no one can see with all the clothes i am wearing to keep warm Ha. oh well.

We also did a little fishing. When i say little .. i literally mean little. i only caught small fish.. but i did catch several of these little guys.

But at least i wasn’t scared to take them off the hook. But apparently i talk to the fish as i do it.. lol. Jessica caught this as i was talking calmly to the fish and apologizing for hooking him. I am kind of a ‘fish whisperer’ :)

but my favorite part of the weekend was seeing the dolphins :) You will have to check out the previous two entries for some cool dolphin pictures and video. Yes, i said video.. we are high tech. :) Thanks for stopping by – wedding post soon!!

My bff and I are in the sunny city of Destin!! And we have just been beside ourselves since we both have always loved dolphins and now have seen them pretty much every day that we have been here in beautiful Destin. It’s a wonderful little dolphin family of 8 with one little baby and one dolphin with a pink belly. We finally remembered to bring a camera the last day. Here is a picture of them – they were only a few feet away from us.
