Hi! I am Jules Wiegand. I love Jesus and Photography (in that order:). Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy browsing through my life and photography. I live in Louisville, but i would love to do your destination wedding or event or mission trip.. so, please fly me somewhere!
I am excited to celebrate your life moments with you – whether that be your engagement, wedding, senior pictures, family or baby pictures – love the babies:) i pretty much love it all!! ha.. that’s a lot of love going on. Now i feel like singing – it’s good for you that i don’t have audio on this blog!!

These are my beautiful friends, Kristy and Gordon. Watching Kristy fall in love has been so fun for me to observe. I am so happy for my friend and Gordon is just an amazing guy, who just adores her. They were adorable on their photoshoot. I can’t wait to celebrate their marriage this July as their wedding photographer. I am so honored to share in their story and to document their story in photographs. Here are some of my faves from their engagement shoot:

31 votes // vote as favoriteSomething you should know about this lovely engaged couple is that they are both super smart. Gordon is a Physical Therapist and Kristy is a teacher. Kristy loves books – she is always reading sometimes several books at a time. It seemed only suitable that we do their engagement shoot at the Louisville Campus, specifically the library. A little side note: Gordon is from Canada so that might help you appreciate one of these a little more. :)

As I sat down to do this post, I went through all of these photos to mark which ones I wanted to use in the blog post. I pretty much marked all 83 photos. haha. So, for your sake – I cut back -way back. But just so you know, lots of favorites. Kristina brought lots of fun props to play with which always adds to my creativity. In the above picture, you can tell that Robert wanted to play with the props too. Haha – such a playful couple to photograph. All these pictures are taken in Anchorage. There are beautiful fields and hiking trails as well as one of my favorite ice cream shops eva!! It’s right next to the Village Anchor which is also delish. My brother is getting married.. i was happy to capture this relationship in photographs. We did an engagement shoot at Ryland Heights country club. My brother has known Melissa since Jr. High School.. in fact, the first guy that Melissa ever held hands with was my brother. Awwww :) Their wedding is coming up in about a week!!! They just kinda knew once they were reunited that this was it.. so now their engaged and preparing to say I do.. forever. Here are some photos from the Ryland Engagement photography session.
