You may remember Kristina and Robert from their engagement photography session in September. I had so much fun being their photographer that we just instantly became friends. A little over two years since they first met and now they are married!!! This was one of the most traveled weddings that I have other done with four different destinations around Louisville. We started in New Albany at the Sheraton, went to the Falls of the Ohio, then to Louisville at the Presbyterian Seminary Caldwell Chapel near Garden Court and then Jeffersonville, Indiana to have the reception at 300 Spring Street. Now that’s a destination wedding!! haha. Their wedding was beautiful and so was Kristina. I think I was just as taken aback as her family when I saw her for the first time in her mermaid style wedding dress – she was stunning!!! Robert was so blown away seeing her the first time – he just kept holding her hand. I love this picture because it shows the warmth of their wedding.

The day started out at the Sheraton Riverside in New Albany (across the river from Louisville) where the bridal party stayed the night before. Kristina wrote Robert a letter while everyone was putting together the final touches to look gorgeous for her fall wedding.

The bridal party was so much fun and so willing to do a little extra to get some stunning and amazing photographs for Kristina and Robert’s special day (even if it meant climbing rocks). haha

While I was photographing the bride and groom, I just happened to look over and see a few of the groomsmen practicing for the reception. Do you know what dance they are doing? I’ll give you a hint: “It’s Electric!” So funny and of course they nailed it at the reception!! Way to go Men!! Emily and Luke love dancing as well. Such a fun wedding. I loved being their photographer. Emily and Luke chose to see each other before the wedding, which of course allows for some amazing photos! Here are some of my favorites.
